According to UN women. (N.D) ''gender equality refers to the equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities of women and men and girls and boys. Equality does not mean that women and men will become the same but that women’s and men’s rights, responsibilities and opportunities will not depend on whether they are born male or female. ''
Why this goal is important?
In the world we live in, the women
have great impact on it and we can say that they are the most important element in
any society, so we must develop the gender equality as much as develop the world
In our personal perspective, we
chose gender equality because it is important thing to us, we know how to feel
when someone else has been suffering. Also, there are a lot of women around the
world are living in misery so we want to know how to improve this goal to help
them, also we feel that the females have connection between us, that’s why we
chose this goal between the other goals.
